Located at the intersection of Dunedin’s green belt and the High Street Heritage Precinct, the site the group has purchased is well connected to public transport and a 5 min walk from the Mornington shops. The property itself is almost completely flat and bounded on three sides by roads. The site backs onto a wooded bank to the west and faces east toward the harbour.
Across the road from the site is Mornington Park which boasts fantastic harbour views, a soccer field, skate park, children’s play ground and private tennis court. Further up Mornington Road and only a couple of minutes walk from the site through the park is the Mornington Medical Centre and local shopping centre which includes a supermarket, postshop, cafe and a number of takeaway outlets.
The site is a 20 minute walk down High Street into the Octagon and with a further 15-20 mins into Otago University.
